Welcome

I write fiction, essays, and stuff in between. My work has appeared in The Rumpus, The Plant, The Stranger, The Heavy Feather Review, Barrelhouse, and other notable publications.

I used to work on a beautiful journal called Versal. Now I read for the Best of the Net Anthology.

When I’m not writing I teach travel writing and literature at Emerson College.  I’m also the founder of Honing House, a place for writers to discover their stories, and how to tell them better.
